Uhh....what???? - Spider-Man 3 Reviews

Okay, we've all heard how the story and sub-plots were full of holes, and how the movie tended to drag a little bit. But what really irked me is how they rushed to symbiote sub-plot. First of all, the symbiote suit is a plot all unto itself, and that's what should've been the main story. That's what people who started lining up at 9:00 came to see. They didn't want to see a mediocre (at best) explanation of the symbiote br Dr. Connors, they wanted to see Marvel's version of Superman on Red Kryptonite, a total bad-ass. Not to mention Spidey's arch nemisis, Venom! He looked great, and Topher Grace did a pretty good job, but it was too short lived. How can anyone possibly justify not having Venom as the main villain. Now that I come to think of it, the villains really didn't seem that big of a threat in this movie. It seemed like a "monster of the week" episode. Show you a cool villain, then cast him away. That's exactly what it did. There was no epic battle between Spiderman and Venom, it was a fairly predictable fight with a predictable outcome, and a horrible ending. I seem to be rambling, so in closing....Mediocre story, Ok acting, Sub-par direction, Absolutley outstandig visual work, and very short, very dissapointing outcome.....
